- Responsibility in the cafeteria meant
that you think about all others. It
requires that you choose an appropriate voice level when talking. Responsible cafeteria behavior expects
people to have school appropriate conversations, to eat properly and throw
away own trash, and to understand how your behavior effects the whole
cafeteria.

Responsibility
- Being
responsible in the cafeteria begins before you even enter the room. A
responsible student makes sure she or he has money in the lunch account.
Responsible students carefully hang up coats. If they notice a coat on the floor,
responsible people hang it up, Responsible students pay attention in line.
They speak loudly and clearly to Miss Sandy. They get all of their
utensils and condiments BEFORE sitting down to eat. Will you be
noticed being responsible?

Pay it Forward!
Today we we had our Pay-It-Forward Assembly! Check out what we did:
After an introduction from Ms. Qonja, we began with our fabulous Fourth Graders reading "Drop a Pebble."
Then, we saw a role play from our phenomenal Fifth Graders.
After that, Mrs. Doran's fantastic First Graders showed us some examples of Acts of Kindness in a video that you can view below (or click HERE to see if you are reading this via email).
Next, members of our super staff shared our Pay-It-Forward project with our school:
Every member of our school (students and staff) will be receiving a laminated "Pay it Forward" card with a special code and instructions. All we ask is that you do a random act of kindness. After performing that act of kindness leave your card with the person you performed the act of kindness for.
On the card, it asks each recipient to contact our school (the contact information- email/address- is given) with their code and the act of kindness completed for them. We also would like them to send their city and state so we can see how far (and how fast) our acts of kindness can spread!
Let's see how far our kindness can spread Loon Lake!
You can and DO make a difference!

Ready
Thursday's Quote:
Readiness is important everywhere. Readiness in school allows learning to take
place without distractions. Readiness on
the soccer, football or baseball field allows for a smooth substitution between
players. Readiness at home allows schedules and routines remain on time.
Pay it Forward!
The PBS Committee has some exciting things planned for this month. Below is a little hint of what is to come. If you are reading this post via email, you can view the video by clicking HERE.

Ready
We will be focusing on Readiness this week at our school.
Monday's Quote:
Being ready is
having all items out before the time a person needs to use them. When it is time to start a task, work on an
assignment or go somewhere, a ready person will be able to begin IMMEDIATELY.
