1D2 Dearborn, MI Two young, very polite boys, passed out flowers to all the ladies they came in contact with and wished them a nice day.  The reactions from all the ladies was really beautiful to witness... all were impressed with the gesture... one teared up and said her heart was beating fast! One flower was even given to a gentleman in a wheelchair. it brought a big smile to his face.  He said he would keep it.  This certainly did brighten up our day.  Thank you very much.

SER50 Wixom, MI I was given a bottle of hand soap from an anonymous person at work.  I was just going on and on the week before about my hands being so dried out and cracked from washing them so much.  This was a kind and thoughtful deed that was much appreciated!

Third Grade Cards
3H7 Wixom, MI. They brought my water bottle and my iPhone from the kitchen to upstairs.
3H15 Novi, MI We recently received a lot of flowers and had time to enjoy them but thought it would be nice to pass on the thoughtfulness so others could enjoy them.  My daughter, Chloe, and son, Connor, went to an assisted living home and passed out individual vases of flowers to wish them a happy spring with a message, "Have a nice day and smile."  The people in the home smiled ear to ear and were so grateful they ended up giving the kids big hugs.  Although you could tell the kids were a little uncomfortable giving strangers flowers, after they did, they had big smiles on their faces from sharing kindness.  The retirement home was in Novi, MI.
3H20 Boyne Highlands, MI.  Haylie M, my daughter, gave me a gift when I wasn't expecting it.  She had not been following directions earlier in the day and got in a little bit of trouble.  Later that day, she had the option of taking some gift certificates and purchase candy for herself, but she decided to forgo the candy and purchase a blue dolphin statue for me as an apology.  She knows how much I love dolphins.  I was quite moved that it had been quite a few hours since we had the discussion about her behavior earlier in the day but it was on her mind.  She was thinking of someone else instead of herself and the fact that she gave up candy (which she absolutely loves) for someone else I thought was a great act of kindness.

3S7 Wixom, MI. He made beaded items for our class auction.

Fourth Grade Cards
4D4 Walled Lake, MI.  Last Friday when we arrived at basketball practice, my son Jack B.F. insisted on carrying the team equipment into the gym along with his own.  After practice he helped pick up all of the balls and carry the equipment to my truck!

4D11 Warren, MI. We are writing to tell you about a wonderful act of kindness we have experienced.  We are the Thursday night 8th grade catechism class at St. Mary Our Lady Queen of Families in Warren, Mi.  We received rainbow bracelets made by Colin F. He made them for us to help us in our journey towards confirmation.  We all think they are great!

Pay it Forward 2015

We are so excited about our PBIS Pay it Forward Project!
Loon Lake Elementary is again performing acts of kindness and hoping to track how their kind acts spread!  We've made a few changes this year.  We are hoping a new (and easier) way to report kind acts will encourage people to report the kind acts that were done for them and do their own kind act for someone else.

This year we've created a website where recipients can easily fill in their code (in the box), location and kind act.  This website can be typed directly into your computer or mobile device or you can reach it by scanning the QR code on the back of the card.
Kindness recipients can also report kind acts by emailing us or sending a letter or post card to Loon Lake Elementary.

To learn more about our project, you can click HERE or view the video below.

Loon Lake students and staff are already beginning their kind acts and are sharing their ideas.  You can get some ideas by clicking HERE or view the video below.

We hope if you find a PIF card in your hand, you'll remember to Pay it Forward!

Be sure to check back here to see how and where our kindness is spreading!
